This is a picture from my garden cam in my back yard. I wanted to take it to the next level, really getting in touch with where my food comes from and what it takes to grow it. I've had a couple of great advisor's: Jeanne Pinsof Nolan, The Organic Gardener who also does the Edible Garden in Lincoln Park Zoo for Green City Market; Tracey Vowell, the farmer from Three Sister's Garden. Another motivation for the garden Cam is that I want everyone to have a back yard garden. The Educational benefits and taste experience from having your own garden far outweighs the challenges. If you see that I can do this, then you'll know that you can too!
